A real reading · Shared with permission

Before you order one, read one.

Most readings are sold on a promise. This is an excerpt from an actual reading Sun wrote — a health-and-timing reading for a woman in her sixties, published with her permission and stripped of every identifying detail. No name, no birth date, no birth time, no city. What’s left is the chart and the reading built on it, which is the only part worth judging.

The chart everything is read from

Eight characters — two for each of the four pillars. You don’t need to decode them; the reading below does that.

Day master: 丁, Yin Fire — the candle rather than the bonfire. Elements: Wood 2, Fire 3, Earth 1, Metal 1, Water 1. Fire runs strong; water runs thin.

The reading · excerpt

The conclusion first — what’s easy to miss.

You are already taking good care of your eyes. The blind spot sits right next to them.

It’s easy to watch the eyes and miss the fire as a whole. Eye pressure, blood pressure, sleep, and the heart are not four separate things — they are one body of heat. Keeping up with the eye drops while leaving blood pressure, sleep, and banked-up feeling unattended means tending the symptom and missing the source.

Your direction differs from your peers’ — yours runs hot and dry. Falls and bone density are what anyone your age is told to watch, so they aren’t the point. Where your chart parts from the average is heat and dryness: rising warmth, dry eyes, thin fluids, shallow sleep. So the direction of everything that follows leans one way — cool it down, moisten it.

Temperament is health, in your case. The habit of absorbing things and pressing feeling down turns into heat, and that heat goes straight to blood pressure, sleep, and eye pressure. Letting feeling move through you is treatment, not indulgence.

How the characters actually move

This is the part a generic reading skips. The detail lives in how the eight characters act on each other.

丁壬 combination — the only water gets tied up. The single water in your chart binds with your day master and turns to wood, which means it never does the one job water was there to do: cool the fire. It isn’t simply that water is scarce — the water you have isn’t being spent.

乙辛 clash — metal strikes the wood. Wood governs the liver, the eyes, the nerves. Metal hits it directly here, and that is a second root of the same vulnerability.

寅巳 punishment — where tension gathers. Liver and gallbladder meet heart and eyes, and they grind. This is a placement classically tied to procedures and operations, which is an argument for regular checks rather than alarm.

Fire feeding Earth — the vent. The excess fire drains into earth, and earth here is the star of making and feeding. Cooking, creating, putting things into the world is literally how the heat leaves your system. Yours is the rare chart where the work is also the medicine.

The excerpt ends here

The full reading continues for several more pages: the remaining blind spots, what changes this specific year and why, the seasons where the heat concentrates, what the chart says about her work and the timing of a decision she was weighing, and a plain list of daily adjustments. Every reading is shaped around what the person actually asked.

What you just read is the whole method.

No warnings, no fixed fate, no flattery. A chart is calculated, the characters are read against each other, and what comes out is a description of tendencies — which you are free to do whatever you like with.

Notice what the reading spends its time on: not the things she already knew and already managed, but the connection she hadn’t made, and the place where her chart says something different from what everyone her age gets told. That’s what a reading is for.
